Private School Association demands Reopening of Schools, Expressed Anger by Demonstrating

Jammu Dec 34 :-The Private School Association demonstrated the demand to open the schools closed for the last two years due to the Corona epidemic. Managers of various schools of the Jammu division participated in this demonstration outside the exhibition ground, and they also raised slogans against the government for not opening the school.

Organized under the banner of the Jammu and Kashmir Private School Association, this demonstration was led by Association President Kamal Gupta and Vice President Rameshwar Mangi, and they said that at this time, schools had been opened in almost every state of the country, but Jammu and Kashmir do not know why. Therefore, school is not opening since.

He said that due to the non-opening of schools, children’s education is also getting affected, while schools are also suffering a lot. His teachers are teaching the children both online and offline. They are working hard so that the children’s future is not spoiled, but due to the school’s closure, the studies are not being done as they should. On this occasion, private school managers also raised slogans against the fee-fixing committee, saying that the committee was harassing them unnecessarily.

They are being harassed every day by issuing new orders, whereas the reality is that they do not even have money left to run the school. They are also withdrawing the salary of teachers in some way, whereas the schools which have kept their transport system, are finding it difficult to handle the vehicles. It is also not easy for them to pay because they are not getting the children’s transport fee due to the school’s closure.

On this occasion, the association also demanded to talk to the schools before setting the fees, start offline classes in schools, allow private schools to take NOC from the traffic department before running trains, give exemption in taking NOC for old schools from the govt (The Awam News)
