Poonch 24-9-2021. Sarpanch Gursai Harmutta Sameena Aras Khan appealed to L.G Manoj Sinha for providing justice to Rehbar-e-Khel Teachers in his Statement khan said that these teachers were appointed in the year 2019 after having faced the requisite interview. Sameena said that these teachers are highly qualified, not less than PG and even having M.Phil and Ph.D. Rehbar-e-Khel Teachers have been working in the education department at the paltry remuneration of Rs 3,000 per month. With such a low income employees face tremendous difficulties in taking care of their families, including aged parents.
Sameena Aras Khan said that employees of Rehbar-e-Khel have approached many times with higher authorities for increasing their salaries but nothing has been done although assurances have been made. A high-level committee was constituted by the government to consider their demands but nothing has come of it as yet.
It may not be out of place to mention that teaches of Rehbar-e-Khel are doing all kinds of duties which include examination duty, election duty, and Covid duty, in addition to their normal duties. Khan said that they are performing all types of duties with zeal and enthusiasm, which has been appreciated at all levels.
Khan said that most of the Rehbar-e-Khel teachers are in mental depression due to the meagre salary, which is unable to meet even day-to-day expenses, especially in these hard times.
Sameena khan requested to Hon’ble LG of j&k to kindly consider their demands sympathetically and resolve the problem expeditiously, by way of increasing salary to the extent of basic pay for the post and to also make a policy for immediate regularisation of Rehbar-e-Khel teachers so theirs worries and anxieties are set at rest.
Khan has appealed to government to reduce probation period of the Rehbar-e-Khel Teachers in the ut to two years from seven years to confirm their services Sameena said that their probation period has been fixed seven years, the government given them 3000 thousands and next five years they get 4000 thousands salaries .
They are regularised after completing seven years long probation period and it is injustice with the highly educated youth engaged by the government on very less wages
Sameena said that the government must implement minimum wage act in j&k besides redressing issues of the appointment under Rehbar-e-Khel
Sameena appealed to L.G Manoj Sinha their probation period should be reduced from seven years to two years treating them equally with other appointees in different departments.
while expressing concern over the plight of the poor youth who have degrees of Bachelor of physical education and master of physical education The Government must seriously review the policy and enhance their wages to honorable level.
