Suchitar Sharma of Salehar village of Jammu district on the India-Pakistan border has done wonders. He has probably become the youngest person in the country to clear the UPSC exam 2020. He had appeared in the UPSC exam just six days after completing his college studies and had succeeded.
Suchitar Sharma, who became the youngest IAS in 2020, is originally from Salehar, a border village in Bishnah tehsil of the Jammu district. Suchitar Sharma’s father, Madan Lal Sharma and mother, Ritu Mangotra, are teachers. Suchitar Sharma’s age is being told on social media as 21 to 22 years.

Suchitar Sharma, who became an IAS officer at 22, earned his bachelor’s degree from GGM Science College, Jammu. Scored 86% marks in graduation with Botany, Zoology and Geology subjects. Suchitar passed Army School Ratnuchak with 94.8 percent marks
Suchitar Sharma said that he wants to credit his success to the blessings of his parents, cousin sister IAS Prasya Sharma and his hard work. Prayasi Sharma is a 2014 batch IAS officer. Prayasi Sharma’s guidance was found to prepare for UPSC Exam 2020.
Suchitar Sharma says that he had decided in class 12 itself that he got inspiration from cousin sister. Therefore, along with my college studies, I started preparing for UPSC as well. He coached for a few days from IAS Academy, located in the Gandhi Nagar area of Jammu. After that, he did the rest himself.
